Abrobs Job Seeker Terms & Conditions
Applies to: Individuals creating a job seeker account on Abrobs.
Abrobs helps individuals discover overseas employment opportunities and connect with relevant recruitment partners and employers. Our goal is to make the international job search process clearer, more transparent, and easier to navigate.
Please read these terms before creating your account. We have kept them simple so you can understand your rights and responsibilities.
1. Your Account and Personal Information
1.1 — Accurate Information
I agree to provide genuine and accurate information about myself, including my name, contact details, education, work experience, skills, age, and other information requested for my profile.
1.2 — Genuine Documents
I will upload only genuine documents belonging to me or documents I am legally authorized to provide. I will not submit forged certificates, false experience letters, or misleading information.
1.3 — Profile Updates
I will update my profile when important information changes, particularly my contact details, qualifications, experience, or availability for overseas employment.
1.4 — Personal Account
I will use my account for myself and will not impersonate another person, create fraudulent profiles, or use another person's documents without proper authorization.
2. How Abrobs Works
2.1 — Job Matching Platform
I understand that Abrobs is a technology platform designed to help candidates discover overseas employment opportunities and connect with relevant recruitment partners and employers.
2.2 — Recruitment Partners
I understand that some job opportunities may be handled by independent recruitment agencies or other authorized recruitment partners. Their identity, role and relevant authorization should be communicated where applicable.
2.3 — Job Verification
I understand that Abrobs may conduct checks on job listings, employers or recruitment partners, depending on the opportunity and the checks performed. A listing on Abrobs does not automatically mean that every detail has been independently verified or that the job is guaranteed.
2.4 — No Guaranteed Employment
I understand that creating an account, completing my profile or applying for a job does not guarantee an interview, selection, employment, visa approval, work permit or permission to travel abroad.
2.5 — Selection Decisions
I understand that employers, recruitment partners and relevant authorities may make their own decisions about eligibility, interviews, selection, documentation, visas and employment.
3. Sharing My Information
3.1 — Job-Related Sharing
I understand that Abrobs may use my profile information to identify suitable opportunities and, where necessary, share relevant information with the recruitment partners, employers or service providers involved in the opportunity.
3.2 — Documents and Sensitive Information
I understand that documents such as passports, certificates and identity records may be requested at later stages. Such information should be collected or shared only when necessary, through appropriate processes and with the required notice or consent.
3.3 — Cross-Border Sharing
I understand that applying for overseas employment may require relevant information to be shared with organizations or recipients outside India. Such sharing will be handled in accordance with the applicable privacy policy and legal requirements.
3.4 — Privacy Policy
I have read, or have been given the opportunity to read, the Abrobs Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, shared, stored, and handled.
4. My Responsibilities as a Candidate
4.1 — Eligibility
I will apply only for jobs for which I meet, or reasonably expect to meet, the stated eligibility requirements.
4.2 — Interviews and Communication
I will make reasonable efforts to attend interviews I accept, respond to legitimate job-related communications, and provide requested information within agreed timelines.
4.3 — Genuine Applications
I will not submit duplicate, misleading, or fraudulent applications, manipulate the platform, misuse another person's account, or use Abrobs for unlawful activities.
4.4 — Respectful Conduct
I will communicate respectfully with Abrobs staff, employers, and recruitment partners. Harassment, threats, abusive conduct, and fraudulent activity may result in restrictions on my account.
4.5 — Account Security
I will take reasonable steps to protect my account and report suspected unauthorized access or misuse.
5. Overseas Jobs, Payments and Fraud Prevention
5.1 — Verify Before Paying
I should verify the job, employer, and recruitment partner before making any payment or handing over my passport or original documents.
5.2 — No Unofficial Payments
I will be cautious of anyone demanding money through personal bank accounts, unofficial channels, or promises of guaranteed jobs, visas, or selection.
5.3 — Applicable Recruitment Rules
Overseas recruitment, recruitment-related charges, emigration clearance, and employment documentation may be subject to Indian law and the rules of the destination country. Applicable fees must be lawful, properly disclosed, and supported by required receipts and documentation.
5.4 — Report Suspicious Activity
I will notify Abrobs if I suspect a fake job, fraudulent recruiter, misleading salary offer, unauthorized fee demand, or misuse of my documents.
5.5 — Job Conditions
Salary, overtime, accommodation, transport, insurance, working hours, and other benefits must be confirmed through the job details and employment contract. I should review final written terms before accepting an offer or travelling.
6. Platform Rules and Account Restrictions
6.1 — Responsible Use
I will not use Abrobs to distribute unlawful content, spam, malicious links, false job advertisements, or information that violates another person's rights.
6.2 — Review and Investigation
Abrobs may review reported profiles, listings, or activity when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, protect users, or comply with legal obligations.
6.3 — Account Restrictions
Abrobs may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where there are reasonable grounds to believe these terms were violated, fraudulent information was submitted, the platform was misused, or a safety or legal risk was created. Where appropriate, the reason and available review or appeal process will be communicated.
6.4 — Platform Availability
Abrobs may update, improve, or temporarily suspend parts of its services for maintenance, security, operational, or legal reasons.
7. Important Limitations
7.1 — Independent Decisions
Employers and recruitment partners may be independent organizations, and their actions, decisions, and services are not automatically controlled by Abrobs.
7.2 — No Immigration Guarantee
Abrobs does not guarantee visa approval, immigration outcomes, work permits, entry into another country, or permanent residency.
7.3 — Reasonable Care
Abrobs aims to provide a trustworthy job-search experience, but information can change and no online platform can eliminate every risk. I will review important details and report discrepancies.
7.4 — Legal Rights
Nothing in these terms removes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
8. Account Closure and Complaints
8.1 — Account Closure
I may request closure of my account through the process provided by Abrobs.
8.2 — Data After Closure
Some information may need to be retained for a limited period where required by law, necessary to resolve disputes, or otherwise lawfully permitted. The Privacy Policy explains relevant data-handling practices.
8.3 — Complaints and Support
I may contact Abrobs to report a problem, request assistance, or raise a complaint about a job listing, recruitment partner, or use of personal information.
9. Changes to These Terms
9.1 — Updates
Abrobs may update these terms when its services, processes, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels where required. Where fresh consent is legally necessary, Abrobs will request it.
10. Final Agreement
10.1 — Acceptance
I confirm that I have read and understood these Terms & Conditions, had the opportunity to review the Privacy Policy, and agree to follow the applicable terms when using Abrobs.
10.2 — Voluntary Registration
I understand that I can choose whether to register. I may contact Abrobs if I have questions about these terms before accepting them.
